Motorhomes vs campervans - which are best?

I am thinking of buying either a Volkswagen campervan or a motorhome, a Chasson, based on a Fiat Ducato 130 Multijet. The motorhome would only be used a few times a year. Can you offer any advice on reliability of these models?

Same old argument. Both of these are built on commercial vans that are basically designed to be driven for 200,000 miles in four years then sold to a builder. It doesn't matter that a motorhome can cost £75k. It's still a commercial van built for a limited life and they deteriorate very badly left doing nothing for months on end on a driveway. So for reliability, better to go for the one you will use the most: the camper.
