Why is my Peugeot 106 overheating?

I have a Peugeot 106 and over the past week I have noticed the temperature light on my dashboard flashing up from time to time. I recently had some work done on my car and asked the garage to look into it for me, I recently changed the oil in the car and also replaced the coolant.

The garage looked the car over and cans't see that it is overheating. Today after collecting my car from them I noticed that the rear window heater will not work, the button light doesn't even come on and the car heater only blows cold air out.

After calling the garage they advised me to replace some fuses or bring it back. Could these problems be connected?

I think that what has happened is that when you replaced the coolant you left an airlock in the system and that is why it is not working properly. There is a FAQ about removing an airlock from the cooling system here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/faq/cooling-system-airlocks/

If that doesn't work, then it could be the thermostat, and replacing that means you'll lose a lot of that new coolant. I can't see how the rear screen heater failure is connected.
