Is paint protection worth the extra?

I have just ordered a new Peugeot 308SW and the salesman asked if I would be interested in Peugeot Protect {exterior and interior guard} at an extra cost of £195. Could you please advise if this is worth having?

That's a fair price for paint protection which the weather precluds you from applying yourself at this time of year.
