Does the Nissan Juke suffer DPF issues?

I have a commute of eight miles a day, five days a week. Over the course of a year, I cover 8000 miles and I rarely do journeys of more than 10 miles. Will a new Nissan Juke 1.5 diesel be suitable for my needs? I'm aware of DPF issues, but the dealer says the car will be fine.

Unless the dealer will give you a five year unconditional guarantee that you will suffer no DPF problems with the 1.5DCI for five years, get the DIG-T 115 instead. This engine pulls the bigger Qashqai along adequately, returning high 40s mpg, so makes even better sense for the Juke. It's also chain cam so no belt to have to change every four years or so.
