Is an unsigned police producer document still valid?
I was recently stopped for a speeding with a hand-held laser device. It registered that I was doing 41mph in a 30mph zone. I was flagged down and given a producer by the police. However, when I went to produce my documents it was discovered that the officer that issued the producer to me had not signed the form or put his PC number down. Where do I stand legally as regards going to court to fight the fine/points on the basis that the police have not followed protocol in giving me the producer? Is an unsigned speeding ticket valid? And will I need a lawyer?

Ask elsewhere. I don't help people get off offences on technicalities.
