Buying an Eos - does the roof tend to leak?

I am considering buying a Volkswagen Eos but I have heard that there have been problems with leaking roofs. This is also now quite an old model, shortly to be deleted. Any thoughts?

Correct. The roof is in too many separate sections for it to stay effectively sealed for long without constant careful maintenance. See the entry in www.honerstjohn.co.uk/carbycar
