Neighbour keeps blocking my driveway - what should I do?

My neighbour and I share a crossover which leads into our individual driveways. His visitors insist on parking their vehicles (large SUVs) on the crossover in front of his driveway. This makes it difficult for me to enter the highway safely as my view is obstructed.

A pointer to the relevant legislation would be helpful. Also should I have an accident as the result of a vehicle being parked on the crossover would I have a claim against the driver of that vehicle?

Just call the police. You mean parking that blocks a 'dropped kerb'. Google <obstructing dropped kerbs and entrances> to get the gen on it. Local bylaws differ. There is no law except RTA 1988 sections 22 and CUR reg 102.
