Where can I find the colour code for my 1995 Peugeot Boxer van?

Where can I find the colour code for my 1995 Peugeot Boxer van? I have looked under the struts and under the bonnet. The van is down as red in the log book, but it is a maroon colour. I have been to an automotive paint specialist but they gave me the wrong match and it's £35 a litre. I even phoned the dealer they couldn't help. Don't no what else to do.

We'd suggest speaking to Peugeot main customer services - their number is on the Peugeot website at www.peugeot.co.uk. Alternatively, try posting something in the Technical Matters section of our Backroom Forum where someone may be able to help - honestjohn.co.uk/forum/threads.htm?f=4
