Shell V-Power Nitro+ vs Millers Ecomax diesel additive

If my understanding is correct, Shell V-Power Nitro+ and Millers Ecomax fuel additive (when added to regular Shell diesel) both claim to achieve the same objective.

However, Millers Ecomax additive works out at an additional £1 per 50 litres, whereas the V-Power is an additional £4 per 50 litres. Is using V-Power instead of the Millers Ecomax additive really worth the additional £3, and if so, how is this justified?

I have lots of evidence to support the use of Shell V-Power Nitro+ petrol and diesel, but, though I trust Millers products, I have nothing to support the long term use of Millers Ecomax instead, so I can't tell you.
