Why does my Renault Laguna 1.9dCi stutter in top gear and smoke under acceleration?

I have a Renault Laguna 1.9dCi on a 51 plate and it runs fine, but when in top gear it feels like it's holding back. Also, when accelerating it produces a little black smoke. Please help - I have cleaned the EGR valve and put a new fuel filter in.

Probably failing turbo oil seals. If so, it means a new turbo.
