Should I be worried about my car's DPF?

I am becoming increasingly concerned about potential problems with my Ford Mondeo's DPF. My 2008 car is used on weekdays on a 12 mile commute. The route involves lots of traffic lights apart a short motorway section (0.5 mile). Journey time is usually around 40 minutes. What effect is this type of use going to have on my DPF?

Because the engine is running for 12 miles it should get to temperature and should regenerate. Not ideal, but this should be an Eolys regenerated DPF anyway and that should help.
