How can I check which recalls were carried out on a Mazda 6 I want to buy?

I'm in the process of buying 2005 Mazda 6 1.8 S with 37,000 miles. The car is being used for school runs, so I want to make sure it's in good working order. I've read that there was a recall regarding the fuel tank. How can I tell if the car has been recalled? Is there anything else in particular I need to check or look out for?

Nothing about this on the official VOSA list of safety recalls. See: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/mazda/5-2005/?sectio...d
