Eolys Fluid - will it help DPF regeneration?

I have a 2006 Citroen C5 Estate 1.6 HDi. It uses Eolys fluid to assist combustion, does this in turn mean that the DPF will not need to be replaced or reconditioned at some point in the future?

No. But it helps the DPF to regenerate and to stay clean. A 2006 should have had its Eolys fluid replaced by now.
