Is there a vehicle into which I can wheel a wheelchair and secure it in place?

Can you recommend a 'not enormous' vehicle that will allow me to drop a ramp, wheel a passenger in a wheelchair into vehicle and secure them in space? It would also be a great advantage if there is a vehicle that could allow the back seats to be re-positioned when the wheelchair facility is not being used.

The best people to go to for wheelchair transport vehicles are at www.brotherwood.com/. A converted Citroen Berlingo or Peugeot Partner is probably your best bet. Some (expensive) conversions allow the wheelchair bound person to sit beside the driver; others allow them to sit beside a rear passenger, and others allow them to sit between two rear passengers. Securing the wheelchair precludes being able to convert the MPV back into a full 5-seater, but some still offer four seats.
