Where can I get a front bumper-mounted rod to aid parking?

Yesterday, at the age of 85, I very successfully passed my third Hampshire County Council Driving Assessment before renewing my licence. The only minor comment, which in the opinion of the examiner would not have caused me to fail a driving test, was that on one or two occasions he thought that I was too close to the nearside.

The problem is that 18 months ago, I downsized to a Skoda Roomster, and from the driving seat, I cannot see the front of the car, and am aware of the fact that when I park, I frequently could have gone much closer to a wall or hedge fronting a parking space. When I was a youngster, I remember some cars having a small ball mounted on a sprung rod bolted to the front nearside bumper. Do you know if it is possible to obtain one of these, and if so, from whom?
