Violent judder on Volkswagen Golf

I have just bought a 2005 Volkswagen Golf with a 1.6 FSI engine. After a couple of miles I noticed the car judders, which could be the clutch or dual mass flywheel. If either are found to be defective, what redress do I have from the car dealer?

Full redress. Nothing to do with the warranty. The dealer is responsible for any fault present or that could have been developing on the date of sale for six months from the date of sale. To claim on the insured warranty would be fraud.
