Faulty Ford Mondeo - should I fix it or sell?

I have owned my 2004 Ford Mondeo since new and until last year it never gave me any issues for complaint. However, with 130,000 miles on the clock, it has started breaking down and I’ve spent £1500 over the last 12 months alone. The car is now suffering with a dashboard fault and I’m facing another bill of £600 for the diagnosis alone. Can you offer any advice? Should I fix it or accept I need a new car?

Basically you have to accept that you have now run the car into the ground. Nine years and 130,000 miles is a fair end of the road for a Ford. Don't spend any more money on it.
