Stolen Car Keys - what should I do?

I’ve had the keys to my Honda Civic stolen in Switzerland, along with documents that included my name and address. I’ve spoken to my insurers and they say ‘they cannot give any advice’ on whether to change the locks, get another set of keys or have both reprogrammed.

My insurance company will only pay to have the car keys replaced, but I am not sure this is the best solution, as I may find myself uninsured if the car is stolen with the keys. What should I do?

You won't be able to stop them getting into the car. But you may be able to have both the keys and the receiver re-programmed. Or get a disklok: www.disklokuk.co.uk/
