Citroen C5 engine cutting out

My 2008 Citroen C5 has developed an intermittent engine fault; it will cut out without warning, but can usually be restarted straight away.

The main dealer has looked at the car, but hasn't been able to identify the problem, with the fault code suggesting that the battery has been momentarily been disconnected. Do you have any ideas what could be happening?

Sounds like a problem with the throttle position sensor.
