Buying a one-year-old Avensis?

I am thinking of buying a one-year-old Avensis from Hills of Woodford who I understand is one of the Toyota approved dealers.

The conversation that I have had with them tells me that the car has slightly over 6000 miles on the clock, it was serviced as per the Toyota requirement i.e. 10000 miles or one year which ever came earlier and was serviced by an approved dealer.

Other than test driving the car by myself and looking for potential scratch marks is there any need to do a AA/ RAC inspection check?

As per the dealer, the car has almost four years of Toyota warranty left. I do not have much experience in cars so your advice will be much appreciated.
