Which MPV to replace our Ford C-Max?

Some years ago we bought a 2004 Ford C-Max on your recommendation which has now done 125,000 miles. Our needs have not really changed, but you no longer recommend the C-Max. What is the best buy in that range now?

The Mazda 5 1.6d TS2. I've had one for a year. It returns 48mpg, has bags of room and is as easy to get in and out of as the old C-Max, but with a more comfortable ride, better steering and handling, cruise control and a perfectly matched engine and 6-speed transmission. I prefer it to the new C-Max and Grand C-Max because of its softer ride, but the new C-Maxes are both excellent too.
