My Subaru 4WD pick-up is reliable, versatile and frugal.

I fully endorse DH of Bakewell's comments regarding small pick-ups. My little Subaru 4WD pick-up is an amazing vehicle and it's a great shame they were not updated and continued in production. Sadly most of these little gems are languishing in farmyards because their owners could not be bothered to hose them down after spending the day in muddy fields. They certainly match his requirements for reliability, versatility and frugality.

There is actually a small pick-up/dropside of the latest Fiat Cargo, here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/fiat/doblo-cargo-201.../? - and it is available with a trick diff for off road use. Thanks to Fiat professional dealers www.fordandslater.co.uk for the information.
