Is my Vauxhall Zafira going to be reliable?
I have heard that the Zafira's 1.9-litre diesel engine can be a disaster zone. I am now worried as I bought a 20-month-old 1.9CDTI automatic one year ago from a local Vauxhall dealer. It had covered 24,000 miles when I bought it and now has 38,000 miles. I have been pleased with the car and with the average fuel consumption of 38mpg, which includes towing my caravan occasionally, but as I am retired I want the car to last for a few more years and I can’t really afford to change, as I would lose a fair amount since purchasing it. Should I be worried?

The Zafira 1.9CDTI auto drives brilliantly, but the list of potential disasters is here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/vauxhall/zafira-b-20...d (Tiny URL: tinyurl.com/7z7mka8)
