Can I tax a car as a motor trader?

My sister bought a car 7 months ago, she has taxed it once with little green slip, the log book still hasn't arrived and now it's due to be taxed again. The post office wont allow her to tax it as the green slip has been taxed. Can I tax my sister's vehicle using my motor traders insurance even though she doesn't have v5?

No. She has to get a form V62 and register it to her name, insure it and tax it.
