Tickover too high on my Micra

When starting my Micra from cold the idle speed is low, but when at operating temperature the idle speed remains too high (1000 - 1200rpm). It is like the choke operating the wrong way round. Only done 27,000 miles.

Problem with the mass airflow sensor in the throttle body. Very common. Might be possible to clean it using a fuel system cleaner. Very expensive to replace because it is an integral part of the throttle body.
