Buying a Hyundai i30 - are any of these worth a look?

I am looking to buy a used Hyundai i30 hatchback with a budget of around £8k. I drive 10,000 miles a year, mainly a 25 minute twice daily commute to & from work on a mix of minor & major roads.
Three cars look interesting, all at franchised garages:

2011 (61) 1.4 Classic with 22k miles on the clock for £7,995
2009 (59) 1.6 CRDi Comfort with 50k miles for £6,750
2011 (11) 1.4 Comfort with just 9k miles for £8,750

Are there any pros/cons? What are your recommendations? Is there anything I need to watch out for?

The 5 speed petrol models feel lively because they are undergeared at about 20mph/1,000rpm in 5th, so quite wearing on a motorway. The 1.6CRDI is higher geared and has no DPF. It's 2 years older but also the best price, so that's the one I'd go for.
