Labour charge for changing 2 side-lamp bulbs?

Looking through my service bill (main dealer - Lancaster Volvo Reading) and find the labour charge for replacing 2 side-lamp bulbs (dim so possible MOT fail) was £36.

Can this really be right?

When contacted about the work required I said "that won't cost much will it?", so go ahead, thinking it would be more like a fiver (based on Halfords) or gratis on top of an overall bill of over £1,600 for other work. My assumption wasn't contradicted.

Yes. That's why you see so many cars with bulbs out. When a garage phones you up to ask you if it should replace some bulbs, always say no, you will DIY.
