Warning light for no reason on 2.5 year-old Golf

The warning light has come on recently on my 2.5 yr old 1.6TDi Golf. According to the manual it relates to a faulty (or partially faulty) driving light system or cornering light system (which I don't have). I have checked the driving lights and both are illuminated correctly. I tried manually turning them off and then turning them back on again which did not cure the fault. Has anyone else come up with this problem as there doesn't seem to be a fault apart from the warning light warning me of an issue that doesn't seem to exist?

That's a mystery, but it's under warranty so ask the supplying dealer to fix it.
