Suggested replacement for my automatic Paugot 307

I need to replace a nine-year old automatic Peugeot 307 estate with a smaller automatic car that takes a dog crate. It must have good vision and an upright driving position. Mainly low mileage trips. Budget £12,000.

Suzuki Splash 1.2 auto or Vauxhall Agila 1.2 auto.

What car is best for me? I like a high driving position, boot space for camping, good fuel economy, ideally some bodywork protection/trims, good all-round driving visibility, cheap to insure/tax.

Small yet tall five-door city car. High seating position. Rear seats fold flat. Auto is 4-speed torque converter. Highest first time MoT pass rate of any car.

Surprisingly spacious small five-door city car. Makes best sense with 1.0 petrol engine. Much better than old Agila. Rebadged version of Suzuki Splash.
