We need a second car that can cope with regular floods

We need a second car. First is a venerable Volvo V70 which is comfortable but suffers from a low air intake and our lane floods regularly. To avoid a long (seven mile) diversion the ideal car would be able to safely negotiate water to a depth of up to 25cm.

It also needs to be comfortable and okay for occasional motorway use without too much noise at speed and have four seats for adults. Would a small SUV fit the bill? Mileage would be limited so petrol is probably preferable to diesel. Budget up to about £9k but would prefer less. Suggestions as to what to consider gratefully received.
