Is a Mercedes-Benz C180 Kompressor a good buy at this price?

I'm looking at a 2006 Mercedes-Benz C180K Sport Coupe automatic with 44,000 miles at £6495 - which seems good value. Were the quality and rust problems that Mercedes-Benz endured in the early 2000s generally sorted out by then?

Rust was sorted by then. But if it's a manual the parking brake release is far from fun on a hill.
