Lurching Leon

I have a 2003 Seat Leon TDI SE 130hp (remapped). Under medium acceleration the car lurches or chokes and there is a kind of sucking noise from the engine. Don't know much about cars but any help would be appreciated.

This could be a number of things. We would suggest that you check all air vacuum pipes for secure connections. Also, check your fuel pipes/filter.

Other than that it may be many things from the Turbo waste gate to the EGR (exhaust gas recycling system to the MAF (mass air flow sensor).

Therefore it may be best to get a diagnostic check carried out in the first instance, this should then highlight the problem by fault code, I.E. P ---- 4 numbers and this code should then relate to the problem.
