Gearbox issues with a brand new Ka
I have recently purchased a Ford KA 2012. It has a gear change problem from 4th to 5th that is a synchro mesh mis-alignment? I have been told they are going to fit a new gearbox, but there isnt one in the country and is on back order?
Is this likely to be a fob off or true? Should I be worried? I have been waiting two weeks already.
The vehicle has only done 1000 miles during 6 months.

Never heard of specifically that before. But failures of transmissions in small cars can occur. This actually has a FIAT engine and transmission as it it basically a rebodied 500.
