Diesel cars - expensive problems due?

We have a 2005 Nissan X-Trail DCi Sport which has done 90,000 miles (we've had it since it was under a year old). After having a new turbo and intercooler under warranty after 2 years, it has been very reliable. I see so much mention of expensive problems with older diesel cars in your pages, I wonder if I should get rid of it before it starts to give trouble. It generally does longer journeys and tows a caravan (we have a small car for shopping trips etc). What do you think?

Mk 1 X-Trails went through a bad patch a few years ago, but I have heard hardly any complaints since. No DPF to worry about. Keep it.
