Buying a used Ford Focus - what discount to expect?

I've seen a car that I’m interested in at a branch of Evans Halshaw. When I phoned to inquire about the car and the best deal they could offer, they replied that they price their cars competitively and do not lower their prices. Is this normal? Or should I expect to get a discount?

if you can beat that price elsewhere, go elsewhere. If you can't, and you are good at negotiating, then pretend you have found a better price and still try to do a deal.
