Registering a car early for discount
We are unhappy about being asked to sign Confirmation of Registration details and insure our sons car this week to hit the June 30 salesmen targets yet car not due into their dealership until July.
Would like to know can we refuse? If we say no, can they cancel the contract? Can they keep our deposit? Are we entitled to say NO? Just wonder what is legal/allowed? I was also thinking if they insist then they need to order us a discount as compensation?

If you refuse then it will be a different contract and a higher price because the dealer has not hit his volume target to get a discount from the manufacturer that he was passing on to you.
