Land Rover key fobs - what do you suggest?

We have wLand Rover Freelander (97 plate) key fobs. One has ceased working and the second is looking iffy. The main dealer insists they need 'reprogramming' at a cost of about £200, however it seems it’s just a power thing - the internal batteries don’t appear replaceable. Do you know if there’s an alternative solution?
