Citroen C5 Hydrostatic suspension

Is there a car on the market that can match the Citroen C5 Tourer Exclusive Hydrostatic (2008-on) for its ability to turn our cratered and potholed roads into a quiet and comfortable magic carpet ride? I need an estate and will be doing some long jouneys this year. Something shorter in length and automatic with easy access preferred, plus reliability and the ability to improve on the 27mpg of our faithful ten year old Subaru Forester 2.0 litre turbo auto. I've owned hydropneumatic Citroens in the past and never had any trouble with the sophisticated suspension. I have £15000 plus the Subaru and would prefer to buy a car under three years old.

Nothing isolates you from the road surface as well as Hydractive III on the Citroen. A Mazda5 is very good indeed due to beautifully damped, long travel suspension and sensible 205/55 R16 tyres, but no automatic.
