New petrol engine versus old diesel

How does the new 1.2TSI engine compare to the "old" 1.9TDI 105pd with acceleration and load pulling in a Skoda Octavia? The dealer claims they are comparable. Is the 1.4 a better choice?

Yes, the 1.4TSI 122 is a better lugger and far sweeter to drive from low revs than the old diesels.
