Buying an MPV - is a C4 picasso a good idea?

I want to replace my Renault Grand Scenic, which I've never really liked, and have looked at a 57 plate Citroen C4 Picasso 5 seater 1.6 diesel auto. Inside it's great - loads of room for three kids. However, it's a diesel (will I have DPF and dual mass flywheel problems on a regular 20 minute commute with the odd longer run thrown in?), auto and ex-motability, so has only done 25,000 miles. I really like the car but is it a sensible choice and what should I be paying a dealer for it?
