Vauxhall Agila clutch very stiff

We have a 23k mileage Agila and are concerned about the strength of the clutch. I think that this is a common problem to this model but is there any modification that can be made. We will speak to the dealer but would appreciate your advice?

Only one complaint of a stiff clutch on the equivalent Suzuki Splash so far. A stiff clutch is usually caused by a bent clutch release arm. Replacing that fixes it.
