BMW X3 Vs Audi Q3

I am looking to buy an Audi Q3, but wondered how they compare to a BMW X3, what are the positives and negatives of both and which do you think would be the best choice. Also, why can I only find articles comparing the Q3 to the X1, as these two seem like very different cars.

The Q3 is the same size as the X1. The Q5 is the same size as the X3. That's why. I have not driven a Q3 but one of my editors has:

My tests of X1, Q5 and X3, all with video:

If you can afford it I'd avoid the belt cam 4-cylinder Audi diesel engines and go for the X3.

But if you want petrol, the Audi petrol engines are all chain cam.
