Which used Audi TT should I buy?
I need to replace my Vauxhall Astra I've had for 15 years and would love an Audi TT but not sure which one. My budget is about 10k and I do about 9k miles a year. I don't need the fastest but just something reliable and cute looking.

We would suggest looking at the second generation of Audi TT, which was on sale from 2006 to 2014. The original TT is also an appealing car but even the youngest examples are now at least 20 years old. The second generation was available with a with a wide choice of engines too. As you have a below average annual mileage we would suggest going for one of the petrol options such as the 1.8T or 2.0T, and avoiding the 3.2 FSI V6 which will be more expensive to run, and 1.8T models are also front-wheel-drive rather than four-wheel-drive, which means a less complicated mechanical layout. £10,000 is a good budget, and would give you a choice of coupes or Roadsters if you want the option to fold the roof down. At this price you should be looking for a car with a full service history, and with so many examples for sale you should have a choice of colours too.
