How do I reset the position of my Tom Tom sat nav?
My car’s sat nav does not read the correct start position. It’s about 30 miles from true position. I just bought an updated SIM card but the error is still there. How do I reset it?

The procedure for a reset depends on the age and model of the unit, but one method is to hold down the power button for up to 30 seconds until you hear the start-up chime, or go into the menu and look for 'settings' or 'change preferences' where you should find an option to reset device or reset factory settings. Also removing the unit from the car so it outside may help it get a better connection to the GPS satellites.
