What can I do about worn leather seats in my three year old Mercedes?
I have a 22 plate Mercedes C-Class with 26k miles on the clock and the leather front seats are showing signs of wear. The leather is loose as if the padding beneath is compressed. The dealers say that these seats do not like the heated seats being on too much. What can I do?

It is disappointing that your seats are showing signs of wear after such a short period of time and relatively low mileage. Unfortunately there is no easy fix. One option would be to replace the front seats, but a pair of new seats would likely be very expensive and sourcing a good quality pair of used seats may take a long time as you would want to find a pair in the right colour. Alternatively you could try an automotive upholsterer who could disassemble the seats and replace the worn foam, although this may still cost a few hundred pounds per seat.
