How do I know what DSG gearbox is in my car?
I have a 2022 VW Tiguan elegance 1.5 TSI with a DSG 7speed gearbox which has just turned 15,000 miles I was just wondering if it is still the same DQ200 dry clutch gearbox. If so, are they now more reliable than the older DQ200 box?

Earlier versions of the DQ200 gearbox have proved to be more problematic than those built more recently and good maintenance will help to ensure its longevity. It is possible that your Tiguan is fitted with the wet clutch DQ381 gearbox if it has the updated 1.5 TSI Evo engine - if you can find the vehicle configuration sticker, sometimes located near the spare wheel well or under the bonnet, the code 'OGC' will indicate you have the DQ381 gearbox.
