Having just tried to search for this itself, it looks like what you might be seeing is Google's AI search facility picking up information from a pricing and specification guide for the previous-generation A1, which was indeed available with a panoramic sunroof. Sadly, the current version is not available wth a sunshine roof. Unfortunately, these AI results can make searching for anything car-related quite difficult, so it's always worth a closer look to see where the information is being plucked from in case it's (as was apparent here) taken from an out-of-date source.

Regarding the VW Polo GTI, it would be an excellent alternative to the Audi A1, and in fact shares many of the same components, including its platform - the Polo is essentially Volkswagen's version of the A1.
