Why has Dacia changed the size of the engine in the Sandero?
Dacia initially fitted a TCe 90 engine of 898cc capacity to the Sandero initially of 90BHP power. Why did Dacia enlarge this engine to 1000cc with the same power output?

Earlier versions of the Dacia Sandero were offered with the 0.9-litre H4Bt TCe engine, which was latterly supeceded by the 1.0-litre H4Dt engine. Although the power output of 90PS remained the same, the larger capacity contributed to an increase of torque from 140Nm to 160Nm.

Cheap and cheerful car that represents great value. Surprisingly comfortable. The 90PS engine is a great all-rounder.
