What spacious family estate car do you recommend?
We need a new family car with space across the back for 2 child seats and an adult plus a large boot. We currently we have an Astra Estate. We prefer petrol and manual and our budget is up to £12k. Looking for cheap insurance and running/maintenance costs. What do you suggest?

We'd recommend a Skoda Superb estate, the 2015-on version of which is easily achievable in your budget. The Kodiaq from the same brand is roomier still, and some are specced as seven-seaters, but it might be a push at £12k, and not many are manuals.
