What do you suggest as a Land Rover Discovery replacement?

I currently drive a 67 plate Land Rover Discovery 5 with 60,000 plus miles on the clock. I am thinking it is probably time to change before something major goes wrong. I have been thinking of dropping back to about a two year old LR Discovery Sport. But what else should I look at? I need dour wheel drive as I do need to go onto farmland fairly often. Can afford £20,000 in addition to the part exchange value. What is available that also is likely to be a bit less to insure than a LR?

The Land Rover Discovery Sport is a very capable vehicle, but its reliability record is poor so you may wish to consider alternatives such as the Audi Q5 or Volvo XC60. If these vehicles do not have sufficient off-road capability you may need something like the Toyota Land Cruiser or Ford Ranger.
